Archive for August 2011
I’ve been trying to design a Family Manifesto. I’ve come up with a few variations on the design (the text is all the same) and while I like these three choices, I’m not sure if any of them are good enough to go on the site. I’ll keep on working out this design, but in the mean-time, which version is your favorite? While you’re at it, is there anything you would add to (or remove from) the text itself?
Today we got another beautiful submission into the August Photo Contest. This one was sent in by Renee Price of Winfield, Kansas.
I chose a different color pallet for our newborn son’s room – blue, yellow and grey. It was very difficult to find any type of artwork that fit those colors! I love the custom color option on Wall Written’s website, because it allowed me to be creative and get exactly the look I was going for, without fitting into the typical baby color mold.
Thank you Wall Written!
I think it turned out lovely. Thanks for sending us your photo, Renee, and good luck!
If you’d like to enter a photo for the chance to win $150 to spend at Wall Written – simply attach the picture to an email, and send it to email@example.com.
Be sure to tell the story behind your statement: either why you chose the phrase you did, how your shopping experience with Wall Written was, and/or how the application process went.
Remember, the deadline for entering the August Photo Contest is August 31st (the last day of the month) – so we can announce the winner in early September.
Every month we host a Photo Contest for the chance to win $50 to spend at Wall Written. This photo was the first to be submitted for August, by Rita Pollak of Middletown, Connecticut. Isn’t it fantastic?
I have anxiously awaited for the arrival of my wall art. It came today and I put it up….it looks absolutely gorgeous! The font, layout, size is all PERFECT and so elegant! I am extremely happy and I have you to thank.
You worked with me to help me create the perfect wall art for a canvas picture. It looks beautiful and I have received sooooo many compliments.
So in honor of how high she’s set the bar, we’ve decided to give our August Photo Contest Winner a $150 Gift Certificate to Wall Written!
We’ll announce the winner in September – just in time to shop for all your fall and holiday decorations.
To submit a photo, simply attach it to an email, and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to tell the story behind it: either why you chose the phrase you did, how your shopping experience with Wall Written was, and/or how the application process went.
Please also keep in mind that the higher quality the photo, the better.
The Someday Series is finally here! Complete with wishes for babies, girls, boys, teenagers, and even a few tongue-in-cheek dreams for adults! (Someday I’ll have a maid, anyone?) The collection has been designed to mix-and-match your favorite “Someday”s, or even to display individually. The retro poster styling is unisex, so you can display these wall decals in a playroom or nursery, or even a shared bathroom.
The winner of our July Photo Contest is Jan Jasperson, with her custom design showing a Kitchen Definition.
Here is the final product. My family and I absolutely love this. If you can help me upload this on your facebook page, I’d love to share it.
Many thanks for your great service. I’m telling all my friends about you through my facebook page.”
Congratulations, Jan! You can look for your $50 Wall Written Gift Certificate Code in an email we sent just today! I can’t wait to see what you choose.
It was so difficult to choose our winner this month; we had some really great submissions.
