Okay everybody, I’ve been über busy making some great new features for the website. It’s all ridiculously exciting, and will be so worth not hearing from me on this blog for the past couple of months.
One of the great new features we’ve been working on is the ability to view and make changes to your completed custom designs. Another, is that we now have embellishments available in the custom design tool, so you can create vinyl wall words with some extra spice! We’ve also made a Custom Design Tool Tutorial Video for you guys, which will be online today or tomorrow. It’s going to be fabulous.
We’ve also been working on some new Application Instruction Videos, which are almost ready, and should be online this week. We put together some troubleshooting videos to go along with them, for those customers who’ve found certain steps to be difficult during application.
I’ll keep you updated as all of these things become available. But I just couldn’t contain my excitement long enough to wait!
We have a great new Custom Designing option available! It’s a Free Custom Design Session with one of our professional graphic artists.
When you schedule a free thirty minute design session with one of our professional graphic artists, you’ll speak on the phone with a designer, view her computer screen while she creates your project, and give instant feedback on the look of your design.
Now you can have a professional graphic artist create the perfect vinyl lettering for your home, office or gifts. We can design your wall quotes to your exact specifications, even adding embellishments. Plus, you’ll have the benefit of our artists’ expertise: we’ll be able to show you great fonts and layout ideas for your custom wall vinyl statements.
There’s never any obligation to buy, and most vinyl quotes can be designed in thirty minutes or less.
This is available now, so visit our website to make your appointment today!
Here at Wall Written we have been hard at work on designing a more user-friendly, attractive website. It’s still a couple weeks out before the whole site will be ready for your shopping pleasure, but here’s a sneak peek at how it’s going to look.
So if the blogging and facebook updates are a little low for the coming fortnight- just know I haven’t forgotten about you. I love you. I just need to spend my time getting this ready for you. Because I know you’re going to love it.
We’ve had a slow blog week, and I’m sorry. But I’ll make it up to you! We’ll be releasing the Fall Email Newsletter next week – just in time to showcase our new Halloween and Fall Collections, and also to give some great decorating and craft ideas for the holidays. We’ll also be announcing the new promotion, and some new colors! So go ahead and sign up for our Free Email Newsletter to see more! In the mean time, here’s a little taste of what’s coming to the site:
Yesterday, we were gathered around a table having an office meeting. I sat back and thought, look at all these beautiful ladies. I asked my husband to snap a quick photo for our blog.
Can I just say, as a business owner, I have been so fortunate to have such a great group of talented, hard-working women. (We also work with a man… and he’s my husband, so of course I think he’s also fantastic.) Everybody has been doing an amazing job. This afternoon, we had 10 minutes to get a rush order finished up and packaged before we had to drive it over to the post office. I was so impressed by how everybody came together to get it out the door on time, in perfect condition, and with all the designs and colors intact.
Susan, you really are one talented lady. You have just been a jewel in creating my vision! What I really like about what you are doing for me is that you are giving me something that is different than what is “out there” and that really speaks to “My” home…not something that is off the shelf. We got the “Carpe Vino” up in the kitchen last night. It is unbelievable. It is exactly what we were wanting and I can’t wait to show it off. You did an amazing job. I have already begun to sing your praises to friends and family. Thank you for going the extra mile for your customers.”
Natalie was so helpful. I put up the growth chart right away, and now with both of my decals applied, my daughter’s room is finally finished. And it is perfect!! Thank you, again, so much for such wonderful products, and thank you for your wonderful customer service! I’ve been raving about you and recommending you to everyone I know!!”
Hi Brittany! THANK YOU SO MUCH for my decals. They are perfect! And I was super surprised to see that you sent both blue options. That is so sweet of you! I’m so glad you did because the “Minted” is a perfect match. I can’t wait to share the booth photos with you!”
Thank YOU! You were a big help Emily. Just so you know, I have been using [another wall words company] for several years and have done a good bit of business with them. My customer service experience this last go around, was terrible. I contacted them first about my “clock wall” because I always use them. The uninterested response I got made me look elsewhere. You now have my business! I have passed your information on to several of my friends.
Good luck in your business Emily, and remember, GREAT customer service does in fact make ALL the difference. You were a sweetheart.”
I definitely agree that Customer Service does make all the difference, so here at Wall Written, we have some of the best people around working for you: creating beautiful designs, shipping them to you quickly, and working with you if there are any bumps along the road. We take care of our customers.
So one of the little things that has been driving me crazy for almost a year is our video library. We have some awesome and dead useful instructional videos showing the step-by-step application of a Wall Written Statement.
We made these videos by borrowing my dad’s sweet video camera, then my sister, Natalie, had a five minute lesson on videography, and we cranked out some movies like it’s nobody’s business. Having no previous editing experience, I sat down for two days and put together some rough-but-good-enough videos for your viewing pleasure.
The clincher (and what’s been giving me that irritated twitch whenever I so much as think of YouTube) is: when I rendered the good-enough videos, they became blurry and not good enough anymore.
Want to see one and decide for yourself? I present to you Exhibit A: Blurry Step One Video:
BUT (eedle-deedle!) today I was able to sit down with an awesome videographer who is going to edit our videos and re-render them for us within the next week or two. I’m so excited!
Another cause for excitement, is that we’ll probably be able to make some more useful videos with application tips, design ideas and craft projects, as well as some tutorials for our website. So look forward to that for the summer.
