Wall Written began in 2007 when Emily Miller (at that time 21 years old and pregnant with child number two) wanted to find a way to make some extra money while her husband, David, was attending university.
“When I came across the vinyl lettering concept, I was smitten. I loved the idea of giving meaningful words power. That by displaying the right words, you could inspire a mood, show your values, or evoke a smile.”
When she went online to buy some vinyl lettering for herself, she was frustrated by companies who either forced you to work with a consultant, or who had amateurish designs and websites.
So she and David, a Computer Engineer, teamed up to create a website and company which would eventually grow to include six employees, plus keep Emily and David working full time.
