Q: How do I know if the Statement will fit my wall?
A: Measure your wall, then click the button on the lower left of the Design Tool labeled "Background". Here you can input your wall/surface size and color, to help visualize how your Statement will look and fit on your wall. (Tip: If you want to place your Statement within certain dimensions - such as in between your bed posts - by all means use the measurement for those, and not for the entire wall.)
Q: By selecting a background color, will there be a background with my order?
A: No. The backgound color is only a reference tool to help you see how the letters would look on your wall. Just choose the color of your wall or surface when using this feature, and note that we do not include any kind of background. See our main FAQs Page to learn more about what each Statement is made of.
Q: How do I add an additional font?
A: Click the button in the lower left corner of the Design Tool labeled "Add Layer". Select the new layer, type in your desired word or phrase, then click the button in the lower left corner labeled "Font". Once you've chosen your font, you may need to adjust the size to relate to the first font the way you would like.
Q: How do I add more than one color?
A: Follow the steps above for adding a layer, then click the button on the lower left of the Design Tool labeled "Color" (Be sure the layer you want to change is selected first.) You will need a new layer for each separate font, and each separate color.
Q: How do I navigate between layers? How can I make changes to a different layer?
A: Simply click on the layer you would like to edit, either on the drag bar above it, or right on the text.
Q: Will I be charged more for having more than one layer?
A: No. We charge based on letter size and the number of letters. Breaking up a Statement into several layers will not change the price, assuming it would have the same letter count. (Making changes to the size of each layer may change the overall price, but simply having 2 colors and/or 2 fonts won't change your price.)
Q: What if I need to get rid of a layer I don't want anymore?
A: Select the layer you want to delete, either by clicking it's drag tab or on the text itself. Then click the button in the lower left corner labeled "Delete Layer".
Q: What does the size refer to in the Custom Design Tool? It says size 10, but it looks to be only 7 inches tall?
A: The size represents the size of the box containing the words. Use the rule bars on the top and left edge of the Design Tool to compare the letters to your desired width and height.
Q: Can you make my logo or other graphics?
A: Yes! If you have a graphic or logo you would like us to make, send us an email with an attachment of the file you would like us to use. The best format for a graphic file is a vector, (with a file extension of ".eps" or ".ai"). If you don't have a vector image, it may be possible to work with other file types as well.
Q: What if you don't have the font I want?
A: We have many fonts available that aren't listed on the site. If you need a specific font, please email us the exact name of the font, and if we don't have it, we'll do our best to get it. In your email, please also include your desired phrase, overall size dimensions, and color.
Q: Do you offer Embellishments and decorative graphics?
A: Yes, we have a wide selection of embellishments that can be found when using our Design Tool. Simply click "Add Embellishment Layer", choose your desired embellishment, then set the size and color. Each embellishment will come on a separate piece from the rest of your design, so you can position it however you like.
